Beer Cheese Dip

This one will quickly become a game day favorite. With just three ingredients and the heat of the sun, you'll have a real crowd pleaser.


  • 12 oz. cream cheese
  • 4 c. shredded Cheddar
  • 8 oz. Guinness stout beer
  • chives or scallions optional for garnish


Place all ingredients in your Graniteware pot and cover. Put the pot in your preheated Solavore Sport. In 10-15 minutes, remove from the oven and stir well. Most of the cheese should be melted and easy to combine at this point.

Place back in the oven and let it cook another 20 minutes or so. Remove and stir again until the dip is very smooth. If it is very thick, thin it out with more beer and stir well to combine.

Serve with pretzels, veggies, etc. This dip will harden a bit as it cools, so we recommend serving part of it and leaving the rest in the oven or in a Solavore pot wrap to keep warm.
